Now through September 30, 2023, Delta is offering business travelers who are elite members of another airline’s (excluding Delta airline partners) frequent flyer program a Status Match to complimentary Platinum, Gold or Silver Medallion® Status for up to 6 months, based on current status. Plus, complete the Challenge* and extend your status through January 2025.

Here's How it Works

1. Request a Status Match

2. Enjoy Medallion Status

Once approved, you will be automatically matched to Platinum, Gold or Silver Medallion Status for 6 months** based on your current elite status with another airline. Your complimentary Medallion Status will begin within 24 hours after you receive your confirmation email.

3. Complete the Challenge to Extend your Status

Extend your Medallion Status through 2025 by completing the Challenge requirements within 3 months of enrollment.

Silver: 8 one ways or 6,250 MQMs & $750 MQDs. Gold: 15 one ways or 12,500 MQMs and $2,000 MQDs.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Eligibility: As a preferred global partner, Delta Air Lines is offering Corporate Travelers who are elite members of another airline’s frequent flyer program a Status Match to Platinum, Gold or Silver Medallion Status for a 3 month or 6 month period, based on your current status with another airline program. Complimentary Platinum, Gold or Silver Medallion Status will be granted on the equivalent status with a qualifying airline. The 3-month Status Match Challenge is available for current and new SkyMiles Members. To be eligible for the 6-month Corporate Status Match Challenge, a Member must be an active employee at a participating business or corporation that has an active corporate sales agreement in place with Delta and have traveled on a Delta-marketed ticket (excluding Basic Economy fares) booked through your company booking tool, tagged with the company ticket designator, within the 6-month period prior to enrollment in this promotion (the “Corporate Travel Requirement”). Members who have not satisfied the Corporate Travel Requirement but otherwise meet the requirements for a Status Match will be enrolled in the 3-month Status Match Challenge. If a Member is initially enrolled in the 3-month Status Match Challenge and travels on a Delta-marketed ticket (excluding Basic Economy fares) booked through their company booking tool tagged with the company ticket designator within 3 months of enrollment in the 3-month Status Match Challenge, the Member will be upgraded to the Corporate Status Match Challenge promotion (i.e., addition of 3 additional months of complimentary Medallion Status) within 7 days of completion of the qualifying travel. This offer is not available to travelers who are currently enrolled or participated in the 2023 public 3-month or corporate 6-month Status Match Challenge. While the system will allow any Member to submit a Status Match request, only eligible Members whose status on another airline has been confirmed and otherwise satisfy the enrollment criteria will qualify and receive complimentary Medallion Status. SkyMiles Members must first register online for participation in the offer by September 30, 2023 (ending 11:59:59 PM, U.S. CDT on 09/30/2023). Promotional registration is required before complimentary Medallion Status will be awarded. During the complimentary period, you will not have access to Rollover MQMs or Choice Benefits, unless you earn Medallion Status through the normal published requirements at delta.com. Medallion Status must be earned in subsequent years by traveling the required Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) or Medallion Qualification Segments (MQSs) and, for U.S. residents, spending the required Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs).

6-month Corporate Status Match Medallion® Status Offer: Members who qualify for the promotion and satisfy the Corporate Travel Requirement will receive 6 months of complimentary Medallion Status upon validation of credentials. Extended Medallion Status can be earned by completing the required amount of Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) or Medallion Qualification Segments (MQSs) during the 3 month Challenge qualification period and, for U.S.-based Members only, earning the required amount of Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs) during the 3 month Challenge qualification period: 6,250 MQMs or 8 MQSs AND $750 MQDs for Silver Medallion Status; 12,500 MQMs or 15 MQSs AND $2,000 MQDs for Gold Medallion Status; and 18,750 MQMs or MQSs AND $3,000 MQDs for Platinum Medallion Status. If these requirements are not met, your complimentary Medallion Status will return to the applicable Status you qualified for during the Medallion Year after your complimentary Status ends. If you complete the Challenge requirements, your Medallion Status at your matched tier or a lower tier will be extended to January 31, 2025. Members who earn Platinum, Gold or Silver Medallion Status beyond the 3 month period through this promotion will be updated in the system within five business days of accumulating the required amount of MQMs or MQSs AND MQDs on flights operated by Delta or Delta Connection and eligible partner airline flights. Members who successfully complete the 6-month Corporate Status Match Challenge are eligible for Rollover MQMs based on their earned Medallion Status and Choice Benefits for Platinum Medallion Status.

Qualifying Activity: Activities eligible for Medallion Status must be completed within three months from promotion registration. Only activity from the day following promotional registration will qualify for this offer. Participation does not guarantee Medallion Status. Matched Status will expire after 3-months or 6-months after enrollment, depending on promotion Member is enrolled, unless that level or a higher level of Medallion Status is awarded prior to that date. Only MQMs and MQSs earned through travel on Delta, Delta Connection, and SkyMiles Partner Airlines will count towards the challenge. MQMs/MQSs earned through other sources, including but not limited to SkyMiles Credit Card, do not count towards the challenge. Basic Economy tickets are not eligible to earn miles in the SkyMiles Program or earn credit towards Medallion Status. Visit Partner Airlines to learn more about what flights qualify.
