Steven Casley

Steve has over 30 years of travel industry experience in both the entrepreneurial and corporate environments in the information services and aviation sectors. Within the industry, Steve has a reputation as a results driven senior executive and entrepreneurial leader with a proven and successful track record.

Steve has worked with an extensive network of clients including industry associations, government agencies, investment firms, airlines, airport authorities, manufacturers, law firms and consultancies. He has significant experience in operations, logistics, analysis and implementation of operations improvements for airlines and aviation-related companies.

Prior to joining the WorldTEK team, Steve was the Chief Operating Officer of the Official Airline Guide (OAG), a Global information services and data solutions company bringing together buyers and sellers of air travel and transport for the passenger aviation, air cargo logistics and business travel markets.

Prior to OAG, Steve was a Co-Founder and President of BACK Aviation Solutions, the premier information and analytical services firm providing on-line information products to the aviation and financial sectors.

Prior to co-founding BACK, he held numerous airline executive positions, including being part of the start-up team at People Express Airlines, serving as the Managing Director of Continental Airlines premier Newark hub, and he was a senior member of the Towers Perrin Transportation Practice.

His background in consulting, analysis, information services and direct airline experience covers virtually all aspects of contemporary aviation operations. Steve has led or been personally involved in over 200 assignments for major airlines and aviation companies in North America, Europe and Asia.

A native of New York City, Steve holds a B.S. degree in business administration and political science from St. John’s University, with corporate sponsored graduate studies at the Harvard Business School. He is a Board Member of Innovata, LLC. Steve is an avid golfer and passionate hockey fan. He resides in Guilford, CT with his wife Susan and four children Sean, Scott, Annie and Sydney.
