Michael started his career in 1997 with Mediagrif Interactive Technologies, a startup venture capital funded e-commerce Company, located on the south shore of Montreal, Quebec Canada, and who provides businesses with innovative e-commerce solutions to help maximize their reach and effectiveness globally.

Among the first 5 employees of this start up venture, Michael played a critical and vital role in the company’s success during his 10 year stay.  Responsible for 2 lines of business and the management of 20+ employees, Michael and his teams delivered continuous gains in both profitability and market share allowing the company to complete a successful IPO and become a publicly traded company on the Toronto stock exchange (tsx:mdf).

After the company went public it acquired several companies in which Michael once again played a major role in the transition of one of the acquisitions which saw operations move from San Diego to Montreal.  Michael quickly transformed the Customer Service Department into an Account Management Team who initiated regular follow-up with their clients, and developed a Business Development Department whose primary goal was to expand the company’s offering to European and Asian based companies (prior to the acquisition the company was focused on North American companies).  After a two year period, Michael and his team enjoyed the fruits of their labor with roughly 35% of the company’s member base now located in these two regions and customer satisfaction/renewal rates at an all-time high of 95%.

In late 2007 Michael decided to pursue other opportunities leaving behind a company he helped build  which now employed over 375+ professionals, 10 unique lines of business and revenues of 50 million dollars annually.

Fascinated with air travel, Michael joined IATA, the International Air Transport Association in 2007; an organization representing 240+ airlines accounting for 84% of total air traffic.  Managing their Sponsorship and Exhibitions Department, Michael and his team were responsible for introducing solution providers to IATA’s airline members via their numerous Conferences & Events.

In 2010, IATA’s conferences and events division was outsourced to WorldTEK, in which Michael was asked to join their team as Director of their Sponsorship and Exhibitions Department.

Michael continues to deliver gains and market share to WorldTEK conferences and events with revenue growth in the double digits despite tough economic times!

Michael currently lives in Chambly Quebec Canada, a suburb of Montreal with his wife Julie and their two daughters.   Michael holds a degree in Business Administration & a certificate in Human Resources Management from Concordia University.
