John Weber joined the Worldtek team two years ago bringing with him 30 years of operations and sales experience in commercial aviation, business analytics, and conferences and events. In his aviation career, John was a systems designer for the PARS computer reservations system which became the backbone of GDS provider Worldspan before being sold to Travelport. John’s operational management experience includes responsibility for airline operations in Scandinavia, Benelux, Italy, France, Spain and the UK, including travel agency sales and corporate travel sales from the carrier perspective. He has over 15 years of solid experience in B2B sales, understanding client needs and finding the right solution for the client’s budget… whether that applies to data, decision technology tools, or conferences and event marketing.
As Head of B2B Sales and Business Development at Worldtek, John has a dual role focusing on revenue development to support the success of the events Worldtek manages for our clients, and on generating new event business for Worldtek.
After many years living in Europe and moving back and forth across the Atlantic, John and his wife settled in Guilford Connecticut with their five children.
