Vin Rosa to Lead ResRunner Event Management Tool

February 13, 2006 – New Haven, CT – Doug Knight, president of Worldtek Travel announces Vin Rosa as principal and president of ResRunner, the agency’s automated event management tool company, ResRunner.

ResRunner is a separate company which provides a proprietary software tool offering a fully customizable system of online registration tools for events of any size. Internet based, ResRunner requires no downloads and provides users with custom designed registration pages, secure online payment processing, report production, instant confirmation and ongoing communication with event attendees. Reports are provided in real-time, offering the most current information. Clients using ResRunner may increase revenue and efficiencies by eliminating expensive mailings and time incurred on data entry. Event planners can receive additional assistance in organizing events by contracting with Worldtek for ancillary event planning services such as site selection, contract negotiation and on-site management.

“As it stands today, ResRunner is a potent vehicle for on-demand meeting management, servicing such clients as IMG and Major League Baseball.” Rosa explained, “But our evolution of the product continues with the upcoming addition of an online booking feature. This will create the first ‘end to end’ automated meeting solution designed for middle market accounts.”

Vin Rosa, a 15-year veteran of Carlson Wagonlit Travel comes from the restaurant business with over 20 years of innovative development, marketing and management experience. As Executive Vice President for one of the country’s largest privately held restaurant companies, he was associated with nearly every national chain and has held positions in operations, human resources, marketing and management information systems.

Rosa began his travel career at McGregor Travel in Marketing and IS and was instrumental in developing the agency’s e-commerce strategy. Vin was actively involved in McGregor’s transition to Navigant International and served on their national marketing committee, which resulted in the development of various premier products, including their online reporting tool. Rosa chaired the committee that developed the Navigant brand, sat on several Navigant product advisory boards and was a leading member of the Strategic Account Sales Team, responsible for account acquisitions greater than $40 Million.

Rosa, a member of the National Business Travel Association and the Association of Corporate Travel Executives has been a panelist for several agency forums.
