Worldtek Travel Bolsters Corporate Travel Offering with Addition of New Managing Partners

New Haven, CT, July 23, 2008 – Worldtek Travel, a top 25 travel management firm with more than 30 years of industry experience, announces the addition of two managing partners and an emphasis on growing the company’s corporate travel offering for middle and large market segments. Michael Share and Jeany Zuhde, travel industry veterans with successful backgrounds in servicing global corporate accounts, have both joined Worldtek as equity partners, effective immediately.
Michael and Jeany unite forces with Worldtek CEO Doug Knight and President Vin Rosa, where each has held senior positions at super regional and mega agencies in the past.  Based upon their collective experiences, the new management team shares an entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to client services that includes creating individual solutions rather than pigeon holing customers into already established molds.
“As a result of rampant industry acquisitions, large and middle market companies have very few alternatives to consider for their corporate travel needs beyond the mega agencies that offer restrictive programs and pre-packed solutions,” said Michael Share.  “By uniting the backgrounds of the four managing partners, Worldtek clients can tap into our vast expertise and hands-on approach while creating a customized program that best fits their individual needs.”
Both Michael and Jeany have decades of direct industry experience - he as an accomplished entrepreneur, salesman and marketer; she as a results oriented talent best known for client servicing, travel management and operations.
Prior to joining Worldtek, Jeany and Michael were the dominant forces behind Sea Gate/Advanced Travel, the regional agency that became synonymous with excellence in service delivery, where they supported such clients as Viacom, Deutsche Bank AG, Bloomberg Financial and Condé Nast Publications.  Sea Gate/Advanced Travel was purchased by Hogg Robinson in 2004 and became the base for Hogg Robinson’s expansion in the U.S.  There, Michael became President of Sales and Marketing for HRG North America.  Jeany became President of Business Management for Hogg Robinson (later, HRG) where she oversaw the company’s global strategic accounts.  Both Michael and Jeany held positions on HRG’s North American Board.
At Worldtek, each of the four managing partners will focus on what they do best.  Michael Share is dedicated to relationship management and sales.  Jeany Zudhe oversees the Agency’s operations, client services and client travel management.  Doug Knight manages the financial assets of the Agency and oversees strategic vendor relationships.  Vin Rosa spearheads Worldtek’s IS and emerging technologies as well as the agency’s automated meeting management system, ResRunner.
