NEW HAVEN, July 20, 2007 – ResRunner and nuTravel today announced a preferred relationship which results in the ability of travel management companies to more efficiently compete in the online marketplace by creating a single sign-on environment for meeting registration and online travel bookings. The relationship harnesses the web-based solutions of nuTravel, a leading provider of online travel reservation tools, with ResRunner, a leading provider of online meeting management technology.

Users will be able to use the technology to create complete meeting registration reservations that will encompass travel activity through one single sign-on, a process currently considered cumbersome in the market today.

The three primary distinctions of this capability include the ability to book multiple passengers on one passenger name record (PNR); the ability to purchase tickets without having a traveler profile; and, the ability to incorporate direct billing with ease. All of these functionalities satisfy common demands for corporate travel groups and meetings, some of which are not available through other tools today.

The process for the end users will allow group attendees to sign onto Internet-based ResRunner using a single sign-on to register for their designated meeting. The user will be able to check the options they desire, including housing requirements, break-out sessions, food and beverage requirements, golf events, etc. Meeting managers will have customized the options tailored around the specifications of the event, with an unlimited number of custom fields.

Once the event registration is complete and housing is secured, the user will be asked if travel requirements are needed, or, the user can bypass this option to go directly to the event payment page. If travel is required, options will be provided immediately through nuTravel’s online booking engine. All corporate travel policy parameters will be incorporated, maximizing preferred vendors and negotiated group contracts. Traditional travel requirements for air, car rental and ground transfers will be available. The system will pre-populate the meeting requirements, including arrival city, dates and payment information leaving the user to indicate the originating city.

Once the travel requirements are completed, the appropriate search for lowest fares and individual travel preferences will be done, and the payment page will appear. Again, a key distinction of this process will permit for a master billing process, if the group has been orchestrated with that offering. The final page will provide a consolidated confirmation of the complete transaction.
