Delegates using Laptop Computers at Schedules Conferences

Dual socket power points will be available at all tables in the main conference room for the use of laptop computers. It would be advisable to bring extension cords, power surge protected power bars and travel adaptors. Delegates are cautioned not to leave computer equipment or other valuables unattended in public areas.

All attendees are asked to be vigilant at all times and take extra care of their personal belongings, such as laptops. Entrance into the conference rooms will only be permitted to those displaying their badges. You are therefore asked to ensure that your badge is with you and visible at all times.

The Gothenburg Card (Goteborgskortet) is a cheap and convenient way to get around the city as it offers unlimited access on local trams, buses and ferryboats as well as discounts on parking, taxis, tourist sights and tours. 24 or 48-hour tickets are available at most hotels, newspaper kiosks and the city’s tourist office.

  • Taxis

Taxis often have fixed rates from the Airport and it’s important to ask the price before getting in. Major taxi companies serving Gothenburg-Landvetter Airport include:

– Lerums Taxi (+46 302 146 00)

– Taxi 020 (020 93 9300)

– Taxi Goteborg (+46 31 650 000)

– Taxi Kurir (+46 31 27 2727)

– Taxigruppen (+46 31 441 441)

  • Trams

One of the best ways to see Gothenburg is from the window of a tram. The trams run all over town and move slowly enough for you to get a proper look at the city. Another alternative is to walk, of course. Gothenburg is a fairly small city, so the distances involved are perfectly manageable
